Day 1: Arusha → Tarangire National Park
Morning pick-up from your Arusha hotel and drive south to Tarangire. Afternoon game drive through the baobab-dotted plains. Large elephant herds, buffalo and predators. Overnight at camp near the river.
Day 2: Tarangire — Full Day
A full day in the park maximises your wildlife time. Morning and afternoon drives following the Tarangire River — a magnet for all wildlife during the dry season. Picnic lunch in the bush.
Day 3: Tarangire → Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Morning drive before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area through the scenic highland villages of Karatu. Check in at your crater-rim lodge with views into the caldera.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha
Early descent into the crater floor for a full morning of game viewing. Black rhino, lions, flamingos, hyenas and more. Ascend after lunch and drive back to Arusha.
