Itinerary Summary
Collected from Arusha and driven to the Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Two full days of game drives in the Serengeti's Seronera Valley, searching for the Big Five and witnessing the drama of life on the open savannah.
Drive south to the Ngorongoro Crater rim. A full-day descent into the crater on Day 4 reveals black rhinos, enormous lion prides, hippos and flamingos. Overnight in a luxury rim lodge with panoramic views.
Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your short domestic flight to Zanzibar (approx 1 hour). Transferred to your beach resort for check-in and the afternoon on the beach. The contrast from savannah to ocean is dramatic and deeply satisfying.
Three days at leisure on Zanzibar's stunning north or east coast beaches. Included: a guided Stone Town walking tour with UNESCO World Heritage sites and a half-day spice farm tour. Optional: snorkelling at Mnemba Atoll, sunset dhow cruise, diving, dolphin tours and kite surfing.
Final morning at your beach resort before transfer to Zanzibar International Airport. Your 10-day Tanzania adventure concludes with memories of both wild savannah and turquoise ocean.
