A Timeless Wilderness

Serengeti National Park is Tanzania's oldest and most celebrated park, covering 14,763 square kilometres of pristine savannah, woodlands and riverine forests. Home to the world-famous Great Migration — where over 1.5 million wildebeest and 300,000 zebras traverse the ecosystem in a relentless annual cycle — the Serengeti supports the highest density of large predators in Africa. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. Year-round, the Serengeti delivers extraordinary wildlife encounters: lion prides raising cubs on sun-baked kopjes, cheetahs sprinting across the open savannah, leopards draped in acacia trees and enormous elephant herds moving silently through the grasslands.
