A Safari Company Born from Passion
Mystique Safari was founded in 2015 by a group of experienced Tanzanian safari guides who shared a single conviction: that the best safari experiences are crafted by people who were born into the wilderness they guide through.
Our founders — guides with decades of combined experience in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire — established Mystique Safari to offer something different from the mass-market operators. We offer exclusively private safaris, smaller groups, local expertise and an obsessive attention to the details that separate a good safari from an extraordinary one.
A decade later, Mystique Safari has become one of Arusha’s most trusted names — recognised by TripAdvisor, recommended by Lonely Planet and booked by guests who value authenticity and quality.

Local Expertise
Every guide at Mystique Safari was born and raised in Tanzania. Our team speaks Swahili, English, and the unspoken language of the bush — a knowledge of animal behaviour and seasonal patterns that can only be earned through a lifetime in these ecosystems.
Responsible Tourism
We are committed to conservation and community benefit. We work exclusively with eco-certified camps, contribute to the Serengeti National Park Community Fund and partner with the African Wildlife Foundation to support anti-poaching initiatives.

From the first email response to the final airport transfer, every detail is managed with care. We use late-model Toyota Land Cruisers with guaranteed window seats for every guest, professional cameras available for loan and evening briefings.
