What to Expect on Your Game Drive

Game drives typically begin at dawn when big cats are most active and the light is golden. Your guide — a certified and experienced Tanzanian naturalist — will read the landscape, track fresh prints and communicate with other guides to bring you to the best sightings of the day. Morning drives run until mid-morning when the heat builds, then resume in the late afternoon for the golden hour before sunset.

All vehicles are equipped with binoculars, wildlife reference guides, a cool box with drinking water and snacks, and charging points for cameras and phones.
