What to Expect on Your Game Drive
Game drives begin at dawn when big cats are most active and the light is golden. Your guide – a certified Tanzanian naturalist – will read the landscape, track fresh prints and bring you to the best sightings. All vehicles carry binoculars, wildlife guides, a cool box with water and snacks, and charging points. Private drives mean no compromises – no shared sightings, no rushed departures, complete flexibility to follow wildlife at your own pace.

Yes – all game drives are included in your Mystique Safari package price. You will have a private vehicle and guide for your exclusive use throughout the safari.
Early morning (6:00-9:30am) is the golden window – animals are most active and the light is beautiful. Late afternoon (3:30-6:30pm) is equally productive for predator sightings.
Night drives are not permitted in Serengeti or Ngorongoro National Parks. However, many private conservancies surrounding the parks do allow night drives – ask us about incorporating a conservancy stay.
