1. Booking and Payment
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 60 days before departure. We accept bank transfer, credit card and Western Union. All prices are quoted in US Dollars and are per person based on double/shared occupancy unless stated otherwise.
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing. The following fees apply: more than 90 days before departure — full refund less $150 processing fee; 60–89 days — 20% cancellation fee; 30–59 days — 40% cancellation fee; under 30 days — 70% cancellation fee. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation.
3. Itinerary Changes
Mystique Safari reserves the right to make alterations to itineraries due to conditions beyond our control, including weather, park closures, political instability or road conditions. We will always seek to offer equivalent or superior alternatives. Changes due to force majeure do not entitle the client to a refund.
4. Health and Safety
Clients must be in good physical health to undertake safari activities. It is the client’s responsibility to consult a medical professional before travel and to obtain appropriate vaccinations and malaria prophylaxis. Mystique Safari cannot be held responsible for health issues arising during the safari.
5. Travel Insurance
All clients are required to have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical evacuation, trip cancellation and baggage loss. Evidence of insurance must be provided before departure. Mystique Safari accepts no liability for losses that would be covered by travel insurance.
6. Liability
Mystique Safari acts as agent for the owners of the vehicles, accommodation and other services used. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total price paid for the safari. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or special losses.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.
